This year, we would like to once again introduce innovative energy supply systems – from energy chains made entirely of recycled material to the new E4Q.1L (LEAN) energy chain, which features strength and low weight, to the e-skin flat made of conductive ESD material for cleanroom applications and much more. E6.29 energy chain series for dry cleanrooms
The first certified energy chain for dry cleanrooms
The proven E6.29 series made of standard material is now certified by Fraunhofer IPA for use in dry cleanrooms (ISO 3, dew point -40°C = relative humidity <1%) for ISO Cleanroom Class 4.
E6.ESD energy chain series
Made of electrically conductive ESD material
Three new E6 series (a total of 88 parts) with inner heights of 29, 40, and 52mm are now available from stock as electrically conductive ESD variants and can be configured online. They can be used to reliably avoid static charges in the area of manufacturing processes for electronic components or assemblies.

Energy supply without measurable abrasion
Abrasion-resistance is the decisive parameter for energy chain applications in cleanrooms. The C6 energy chain sets the standard. The abrasion is barely measurable. This is the best outcome: no abrasion can be measured when the new C6 cleanroom energy chain is used, even under high loads.
e-skin flat accessories: new support chain
Travels of up to 5m with e-skin flat
The new e-skin® flat with support chain allows longer travel distances with the cleanroom-optimized e-skin® flat system. The new larger e-skin® flat with support chain is guided in the POD SKF15C e-skin® flat and can be integrated into the existing mounting bracket structure.
Cleanroom-compatible roller supports
Very low particle emission thanks to optimized roller surfaces
The advantages of cleanroom chains can be used, including for long travels. Here, the upper run of the cleanroom-compatible E6.52 e-chain® is supported over long travels, eliminating particle emissions caused by gliding. Contacts are minimized by motor-controlled roller guide rocking.
e-tract 2.1 cable retraction system
E-mobility made easy. Slimmer and more compact for a tidy charging station
The next step in the evolution of the e-tract, the solution for automatic cable retraction – ideal for electric car charging stations. The new version is now even slimmer and more compact and offers a better ratio of extension to total cable length in the system. A wall box (11kW) is integrated into the system.

The Microphone Motor Reeler solves a problem in the stage technology area and is particularly versatile thanks to its compactness and low weight. It can be used for stage and theatre operation according to DIN EN 17206 and DGUV Principle 315-390.

Energy supply for jib cranes up to 10 metre travel
Until now, hanging cables on jib cranes have often posed a high risk. They could get tangled and damaged. guidelok GLO.S is compactly mounted on the crane girder and increases safety during operation.
e-chain reel with socket trolley
Mobile socket for 8/10kV medium voltage cables
The igus e-chain reel is a motor-driven, reeling e-chain system equipped with a special chain with roller inserts that can be used to flexibly position the socket within a range of up to 100m. This allows more ships to be supplied than permanently installed systems can.
New accessories for the E4Q e-chain
Expanding the E4Q modular kit
The new, asymmetrical Hi.9 separator can now be used for simple guidance of many thin cables. The extension link can be used to easily extend an existing energy chain in order to guide a large number of cables or especially heavy cables in one chain. The TUB link can be used to guide additional cables, hoses, or corrugated tubes parallel to the existing energy chain.
Chain opener for E2.1 e-chains
Reduction of assembly time by 94%
The new chain openers can be used to open E2.1 energy chains meter by meter in a few seconds to insert separators and shelves. Safe guidance with greatly reduced effort and time and minimized risk of crossbar damage.
E2.26.C01 snapclip
Easy guidance outside the energy chain
The E2.26.C01 snapclip easily expands the fillable space in an existing chain configuration by up to 375mm².
tube-trough support tray
Compact lightweight
Developed as a compact, very light support tray for our Low-Cost Automation linear robots, the new tube-trough support tray is also ideal for many of our small chain series.
