Product description
Selective laser sintering (SLS) material: iglide® i9-ESD

The laser sintering powder iglide i9-ESD has a electrical resistance of 106 to 109 Ohm. This makes it electrostatically dissipative (ESD), and at the same time reduces the risk of unwanted discharge currents between sensitive, electrical components. This makes it ideal for applications in the electronics and semiconductor industries, and especially for electronic connectors.

When to use it?
  • When antistatic components with medium conductivity are needed
  • For applications under water or with high humidity
  • When components with high stiffness are required
  • When components with high UV resistance are required
  • For gear applications under water
  • For gear applications where ESD specifications are required
  • When black components are required
  • If I want to produce wear-resistant laser sintering components on a low-cost laser sintering system (no CO2 laser required)
