This newly developed X-ray robot presents a special challenge to energy chains. They had to be designed for numerous media, fit in a very tight space and must not restrict the robot’s range of movement. In this case, two opposite e-chains® of the twisterchain® series are used, which have been specially designed for circular movements. Since the robot is mounted on the ceiling, the twisterchain® is used with stationary upper run and moving lower run.
