Product description
Fast double axle for large work spaces
The compact, robust and lubrication-free drylin ZLX high-performance series from igus is characterised by a newly developed anodised aluminium profile. This profile is visually similar to a mechanical engineering profile and can be easily integrated into a modular profile system. The drylin ZLX axles are quiet, robust and run without lubricants. The new toothed belt axis is based on the principle of ‘gliding instead of rolling’. Drylin W sliding guides work over a large surface area on the rail or shaft, which enables a lighter and quieter design. Optimised sliding guides and larger deflection radii improve the wear resistance of the timing belt and extend the service life of the axis. For the first time, igus is now offering a ready-to-connect double axis system with gearbox and electric motor that can synchronise a stroke of 500 mm (working area 500x500 mm). Numerous grooves allow accessories to be attached and facilitate assembly. The toothed belt axes are supplied ready for installation with electric motors. There are three motor concepts to choose from: Stepper, EC/BLDC or DC motors, all of which can be operated with the D1 universal controller or cost-effective output stages such as D3, D5, D7, D8 or D9.
