Product description
Extra digital I/O module for the igus robot control

The additional I/O module is suitable for the igus robot control. Due to the simple plug & play installation, expansion in the control cabinet can be easily implemented and no additional cabling is required. The I/O module has 7 digital inputs and 7 digital outputs. The inputs are electrically decoupled from the control electronics by an optocoupler and accept 24V input signals.
The outputs are semiconductor relays that can switch up to 500 mA per channel. The DIO module does not have its own supply voltage for the DIOs.
The inputs are optocouplers that can detect a 24V signal. Signal and signal ground must be connected to the DIO module.
Indicators: When a sensor input or output changes state, the orange LED on the top panel will flash once.
Various actuators, valves or sensors can be controlled with the I/O module.

Control system

The igus Robot Control enables simple and intuitive robot control and programming and thus an easy entry into automation. The modular structure makes it possible to control different igus kinematics, such as delta robots. The delta robot can be controlled directly with all its advantages by our igus® Robot Control.
The free and license-free igus robot control software is integrated into the control and thus uses a uniform operating concept and consistent communication services for many components of a system. This means less configuration effort and faster commissioning.
The igus Robot Control is not part of the article and can be purchased from us as an option. A master control is not necessary.
