Product description
Delta robot - 2 degrees of freedom 400mm
igus offers Delta robots for a wide variety of tasks. igus Delta include preconfigured drylin linear modules and linear axes (ZLW-1040S, incl. interchangeable bearings) with igus stepper motors (NEMA 24 with encoders) as well as all components required for self-assembly.
The 2-axis Delta was specially developed for fast pick & place tasks and is supplied in two different sizes with matching controllers.

Technical details
400 mm working area in 2 dimensional space
Pick rate of max. 110/min
Self-lubricating and maintenance-free drylin® ZLW toothed belt axes
Application examples
Typical applications of our drylin® delta robots are pick and place, conveyor belt picking and stacking tasks in three-dimensional space. In combination with a gripper or suction cup, picking tasks can be implemented very quickly.

Control
The igus Robot Control enables simple and intuitive robot control and programming and thus an easy entry into automation. The modular design allows different igus kinematics, for example Delta robots, to be controlled. The Delta robot can be directly controlled by our igus® Robot Control with all its advantages.
The free of charge and license-free igus Robot Control software is integrated into the control system and thus accesses a uniform operating concept and consistent communication services for many components of a system. This means less project planning effort and faster commissioning.
The igus Robot Control is not part of the article and can be obtained from us as an option. A master control is not necessary.

If you want to use your own (robot) control, this is also no problem.
Alternatively, it is also possible to operate each axis individually with a controller. For example, with our igus® dryve D1 motor controller. With this control architecture, you need one motor control per linear axis or motor and an additional master control, which controls the coordination of the movement. You must then also program the inverse kinematics for the delta robot yourself on your development environment.
The motor controllers are not part of the article and can be obtained from us as an option. A master control is not currently offered by igus.

Optional accessories
Cable carriers and controls are available on request.
