Fully equipped readycable® factories for drive cables suitable for 24 manufacturer standards in USA, Spain, Turkey, UK and Germany.
Since delivery times and delivery reliability are becoming increasingly important in all areas, igus has set up additional readycable productions at hotspots in Europe. All locations use existing processes in order to serve your customers courteously and quickly. In addition to identical machine selection, the same testing and documentation methods are used to meet the company's existing standards and lean methods. All employees are trained at the headquarters in Cologne in order to be able to guarantee consistently high quality at your production site later on.
All readycable factories strictly adhere to the lean principle.
Lean management is an approach to continuous process optimization. It includes the efficient design of the entire value chain. Using various methods, procedures and principles of thought, it pursues the goal of harmonising processes and producing a holistic production system without waste (lean production).
The focus is thereby on value-added activities for which the customer pays. In everyday work, however, actions that cannot contribute to the increase in value or even cause additional costs are performed. This is often the result of inefficient processes, which can lead to waiting times, unnecessary communication and complicated work steps, as can be seen in the adjacent diagram.
So you too can benefit from the lean principles of international readycable production
The igus products support your company in a lean working method. The company igus offers you 100% tested pre-assembled cables with connectors (readycable) as well as fully harnessed energy chains (readychain).
