The combination of tribologically optimized drylin® W linear guide made of carbon with dry-tech® polymers in the carriage and deflection make the toothed belt axis ZLW-0630-P the first completely metal-free toothed belt axis. Due to the fully solid plastic construction within the support ends by the use of xiros® ball bearings (with plastic or glass balls), the system is extremely lightweight and completely maintenance-free, because all bearings run dry, free of external lubrication.
