Recognise the condition of the chain at a glance

With the new status indicator, the condition of your chain can be read using simple technology without cables. The colour indicator changes from green to yellow to red. This allows you to quickly and efficiently recognise at a glance whether there is a need for action.

Using a mechanical status indicator, the new condition sensor can quickly provide information about the wear condition of the chain via coloured indicators. Abrasion exposes wear additives in the chain links and provides information on the condition of the gliding e-chain. With a green sensor, everything is in the green range. The colour changes to yellow with increasing abrasion. If the indicator is red, the chain should be checked and replaced if necessary. The decreasing distance between the crossbars also indicates the state of wear.

In the event of a shutdown, you will be informed immediately by e-mail or SMS, and the igus® sales department will also be notified so that fast deliveries can be arranged if necessary. All reports are saved with measured values in the portal and can be evaluated at a later point in time for diagnostic purposes. In addition to the basic service, the system optionally records a movement profile, allowing for a more precise service life calculation or service planning.

Additional sensors are installed in your system, which determine the actual wear of the e-chain systems® or cables. This status information is available to you 24/7 via the i.Cee portal and enables you to plan long-term maintenance and retrofits. Depending on the i.Cee hardware in use, sensor data can be saved for later evaluation.
