Sustainable and eco-friendly practices are becoming increasingly important in all facets of life, including within the engineering industry where plastic materials are extremely versatile and can be more efficient than metal due to their optimized frictional properties.
Our chainge Recycling Program allows you to recycle your old cable carriers in exchange for a voucher. Here’s how it works: you send us your cable carriers, we separate (unmix) the plastic material, shred it on site, and send the unmixed granulate material to our recycling partner in Massachusetts. Then, you’ll receive a voucher based on the weight of your recycled cable carriers, which you can use to purchase new igus® products.
Remove the rough dirt from the energy chain, with a high-pressure cleaner, for example.
Weigh the energy chain.
Fill in the form in order to get in touch with us.
Package the energy chain and send it to us post-paid.

You will receive a voucher that you can then use to purchase new igus products. Compensation is $0.11/lb of your cable carrier length. So, 200lbs x $0.11/lb = $22 payment voucher.
