Separators are the only possibility of dividing the interior of a non-snap-open, Type 20 chain. Spacers can be used to adjust the space between two crossbars to a defined width. This function is used predominantly for side-mounted chains.

Guide troughs are used for applications in which the upper run of the Energy Chain® glides on the lower run. The following components are required if the igus® steel guide trough is used.Guide trough without glide bars part no. 92-30, guide trough with glide bars part no. 92-31. Installation sets as a joint connection part no. 92-50. XX
.XX indicates the length of the C-profiles on which the guide trough is mounted.The standard length of the trough components and glide bars is 6.56 ft (2 m). The required total length of the guide trough is determined by the travel.
