Cable carrier for a palletising system
This energy chain® cable carrier in the palletising system of a dairy is subject to extreme load with more than 5.000 strokes a day. The previously used energy chain® did not withstand the load and frequently failed. On the other hand, the igus® Rol Energy Chain® roller chain from the E4/4 family has been in use for two years. Stainless steel roller bearings in the Energy Chain® cable carrier ensure low friction values and a reduction of the required driving power.
