Elevator runs again thanks to Igus® Cable Carriers

Inclined hoist

Almost daily failures of this inclined hoist in the URBIS art center in the Manchester city center have become a thing of the past with the deployment of the igus® Energy Chain® cable carriers. The hoist travels a distance of approx. 50 meters at an angle of 45°. The previously used bus system was replaced by an E-Chain® cable carrier system, and the availability of the frequently used hoist is restored; the maintenance expenditure tends toward zero.
