This torch stand carries a welding gun and uses a drive spindle for smooth motion, as well as lighting to ensure high precision when welding. Design requirements for this application of spherical bearings included low cost and the ability to resist dirt. The driving hand wheels are supported on iglide® thrust washers. The lighting (two lamp heads with LEDs) is mounted on igubal® spherical bearings so that it can move freely in a wide area to shed light wherever it is needed.
